DROPPED DEAD ON THE STREET Miss C.'NIfer, of Camden, Died Prom Heart Failure Mlaa C. Ntfer, aged about 3E years while walking up Howard street from a hath boose, shout a quarter of one yeeterday noon, died suddenly from heart failure. Dr. Walter H. Phillips was summoned Immediately, but pronounced her dead when he reached the body, which was taken to the offl ce of Coroner Thompson. Mias Niter came to the Cbalfonte on Tuesday of last week agd was unaccompanied. She has been a Jolly guest and mingled freely with them, and presented no signs of having heart trouble, nor did she complain to any of the guests. The authorities of Camden, were notified yesterday afternoon.
CAKE WALK AT CHALFONTE A Jolly Tima for the Walters and 4 cake walk and entertainment wa , given In the Chalfonte dining room last night, by the waiters of that hotel. Mr. J. M. Welsh, of Beverly, N. J., was chairman of the guests committee which provided the prises tor the beet walkers. After the cake walk there was a concert by five New Yor young men who blacked up tor the occasion. Present# were also presented to them. The gucsu had a moot Jolly Mme and the waiters netted a goodly turn of money.
