In a public proclamation, issued today, Governor Fort threatens to declare Atlantic City under martial law and call oat the Stale militia to police the resort unless the liquor law* are strictly observed by the resort next Sunday and In the future. It has been noticed that since the Government and State of New Jersey have taken action against Menhaden fishermen, that they have kept oCf the Cape May shore during the past summer, and as a consequen or. large schools or fish come almost within the breakers and are caught rapidly with a hook and Une.
