The deep ara fishing grounds of Cape May are the shoals known as Fathom Bank. They are five miles off shore and about fifteen mile* from Cape May, and the sail from here to ground* la one of the most exhilarating of experiences. There are ^Iways sela ready to make the trip, and t are many who visit ns who com among the rarest of their enjoyments. The scenes at sea and along shore constantly vary and increase the pleasure, and even a touch of ami de merdoea not prevent enjoyment, but may be included among the unique experience* which are worth enduring for so grand a recreation. The fishing requires considerable exertion which civea the keenest pleasure, and the number of fish which may be caught is only limited by the length of time devoted to the sport. It is one of those incidents in life which one who first enjoy* the experience never forgets and always looks back upon with the liveliest satisfaction. The after-experience of the voyager who returns to this gay city, tired and hearty, la restful and a proper complement to the day's association with the sea and nature. Bleep, deliciously sound and dreamless, naturally follow*, and one feel* new life thrilling him when he arises next morning. A visit to Cape May la Incomplete without this exjieri-

we can learn, la rather flat, generally
speaking, though here and there exception*. It goes to show the mu uinty of “aeasona," and how little
can count on large patronage and big
money. An early boom waa givei Capo May, in a measure, but this by a special feature that could leave nothing In Its train. The weather has not been steadily clear and warm needed for large sad steady latnmage. Finance* In Philadelphia hare slaughtering people's account* In vari-
ous ways, all brought about by the
rascally scheming of bad men, and many a person, indeed, whole families feel Urn effect* raffielenlly to cause the shorten the limit of their summer pleasures. Gradually, however, this dull feeling la being worn away, aa train now brings in person* who have coma fur a full midsummer sojourn. The same feeling exists at Atlantic City where so many Imagine there la always a great rush and Immense pro*]
