The attention of tba street committee was called to the bad condition ol the sidewalk on Perry street, bounding on the New Colombia hotel ruins. A bill of Franklin Electric Light Company was referred back to committee for correction. The Treasurer's report was r.ad and showed that there were M.HJI 83 on , hand and that the 48.000 had boss deposited la sinking fund, which swells that to 48,000 which cannot be used only for tbs payment of prUc pal on city bonds. The Recorder reported that be had received to date 48,805.15 for lioeuaca, and 47.900, for water rents, and a total through him office to date of *14,054. Current bllla were passed by council amounting to 43000 and ovnr.
