Church of the Advent, spoke feelingly and with excellent thoughts bearing on edncalioj. The grammar and nigh achool. pupils asng “Bpringtime,” in an excellent manner. William Hall, a graduate of the school, and a son of Mr. and Mra. Lafaj cue M. Hall, recited in a clear voice tb the poem which had been w ritreu for lb occasion by Per. G B. Fiaber. Benjamin Oresae Dead. Benjamin Cresae, aged 74 years, of Rio Grande, died at his late reaident*, on Munday night from paralysis. The deceased wa* one of the heat known residents of tbe county, and father of Free-' bolder Alfred Crease, of Diaa Creek. About two yean ago Mr. and Mrs. Crime celebrated their golden wedding. Tbe funeral occurred ou Thursday afternoon and was largely attended.
