OBITUARY. WILLI A* UEiiKY *XK^-XS. _ William Henry Reeves, aged 38 years, died at half-past eight o'clock on Wednesday evening, after a severe Ulncs*. The deceased m-ma s member of ewe^afjjle best known families of Cspe^msy county, and. was bofn'in what is noc West Cape May. and spenUiis boyhood days there. He was a son of Uft late Andrew Reeves. Yhen fourteen yet Philadelphia and « house of Sharpless-i years, or until the breaking out of the Civil War. He enlisted in Company C •Thirtythird Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, serving with credit in the army. When the second call (or emergency men was made by President Lincoln, be again enlisted, and after creditable service was mustered out and honorably discharged. After the war he came back to Cape May and in 1868 married Miss Elisabeth B. Edmunds, 1 - daughter of the lafk Hon Richard D. Edmunds He followed the pursnit of farmer on the place where he was raised until about 8 years ago; when, as a result of his two army enlist, menu, he became totally disabled ft

rheumatism.

Mr. Reeves was a consistent Christian and for a number of yean had been a member of-the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church. For several yean he waa Assessor of the borough of West Cape May, and was highly respected by-all who knew him. He waa a brother of Samuel W. Reeses, the proniinenl Philadelphia lawyer; Charles Clinton Reevrt, clerk of Lower township; the late Clement 8. Reeve*, of this city, and ol 'Mrs. Walter Hand, Mrs. Henry H.
