The case which occupied the afternoon was that of B. W. Andrews A Co., of Philadelphia, against Isaac W. Dawson

There were two witnesses sworn for the plaintiff, Mr. Andrews himself and bis bookkeeper, Edward Scott. They testified that both Dawson and bis w'fe had accounts wtto them, for money advanced for'running the canuing factory of Eldora, sometimes mansged by Mr. DawSou and sometimes by Mrs. Dawson. Merry Throng Takes Advantage of Recent Cold Snap. Mrs. Lafe Miller attracted tcntlon and was much admired. Misses Anns Hebentbsl, Marion Hand and Louie Rutherford did several fancy feats, and are beautiful skaters. Mr. Harold Hand and Mlw Crowell are two very pretty skaters, aud ere generally admired. Memm. Thomas Sayre, Frank Cssasdy, Harold Hand and Clinton Rutherford joined in a roll up the lake and their gracefulness wss much commented on. There were at least two hundred skaters i tbe lake and on account of gpaoe are obliged to omit the names of several who shared lu the merriment. Presbyterian Sunday School. The annual business meeting of the Presbyterian Sunday School was held last Sunday, Jan. 6th. The following officer* were elected: superintendent, J. Mrcray; assistant superintendent. Gilbert C. Hughes; treasurer, L H. Smith; secretary, Frank B. Mrcray; librarian*, I. Harry Smith, James B. tithes; assistant librarians. Jay Mecrey and Clinton Rutherford.
