Notice to Bicycle Riders!

An ordinance to r can late the nse of tricycles, tricjrclea and ainuliar vehicles in the city

of Cape Kay.

Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the inham tents of the City of Cape May in City Council assembled, and it is hereby enaeted by the authority of same, That all bicycles, tricycles and at mi liar , vehicles, when in use on the highway, eUeets, lanes and public places of this city, shall have a lamp of such illnminating power as to be seen one hundred yards ahead, attached thereto and kept lighted, between one hour

after sunset or sunrise.

Section 3. And be It further ordained and enacted. That all anch bicycles, tricycles and aimiliar vehicles shall canry a suitable alarm bell, attached to the handle bar of anch vehicle, which when rung may be heard one hnndrcd feet distnnt. Section x. And be it fnrthcr ordained and enacted. That no person or persons shall be allowed to ride any bicycle, tricycle or similiar vehicle, within the city limit, at a rate of speed exceeding eight miles an hour,
