PROPOSED NEW TOWN
OLD RACE TRACK LOT NEAR CAPE MAY POINT THE SITE.
Would Mean Raise in Real Estate
Tr»c« Han Bern Purrhnned by a Syndicate And Work Will be. Commenced Shortly. TUb UteM Id the way of ImproremrnU which U now koIdk the round* I* that the Urge tract of land which oomprUrs many acrca and la known by many a* the old race cour«* track. altuaUd between Cape May and Cape May Point ha* been purchased by a syndicate, hut who»e name* could not be learned, and It will shortly be Uhl off as a beautiful town plot. This large tract of land which waa about 30 year* ago the scene of many exciting horse race* and was a farorite spot for many to pass their leisure hour*, ha* entirely been abandoned, and cornfields bar* taken iu place, but here and there are reminder* of the once famed track that father time has left untouched. Then U no reason whatever why tbia apes would not make an Idea] place to start a city, it being beautifully *1 tasted on a small bluff, and would be a centre from Cape May to Cape May Point. U la given out through pretty good authority that the syndicate mean business and will start to wbrk immediately on the new project, and then Is no reason why the undertaking should not push ahead. If such is the case it would be a heavy boon for property owners in the whereabouts of the pppoeed town, and would mean a suddee-eaiae in real estate."beskle* the work and toll that would terminate later.
