Alex Schclienger sold a tine beef to William Harris of Kio Grande last week the Cornwell Bros.doing the butchering. Wm. Sayre, son of Dr. Jeremiah Sayre, of Red Bank, is visiting hi* grandparents in the village this week. , A number of our villagers who have cottages at Seaville Causp Grounds are moving into them this week for the series of meetings. Judge Isenbrown and a number of friends from Pi iladdphta are spending a few days at Pierce's Point. Mrs. Wm. Bateman and litUe daughter Fannie of Wildwood spent Sunday with their parents in this village.

Mills spent the tint of the week with his wife in Ocean City. Modat Koorbacb and wife of California are with Mn. Kuorbach's parents, Jas. Springer and wife. Mn. George Springer of Millville is visiting her mother, Mn. Iloorbach. on Main st., Edgar Douglass anu family of Burleigh spent Sunday with bis parents, Alex. Douglass and wife.

KIO GRANDE, July 20 —Mr William Davia, who had a slight paralytic stroke was recently taken to the almshouse at Cape May Coart House Miss Eva Edwards has been entertaining company from Washington, D. C. Mrs. Lixsie Shaw has returned home, after spending two weeks very pleasantly with relatives and friends Trenton. A number of our pecple visited Wildwood last Saturday evening. A good time was reported by all. Mr*. Edward Steer and children of Weat Cape May were last week - visitors srith Mrs. Steer's mother, Mrs. Ralph Denn. Mrs. Mary Frayne spent Thursday and Friday with friends at Coart House. Mrs. Emma Tbompaon, accompanied by her daughter, Effie, are sojourning at Cape May for a few days. A little visitor came to the home of Mr. and Mn. Ephrimm McCarthy on Monday. It being No. 1 and a little -girl, Eph is becoming very impatient over the fact that the infant will not do so much as even call him “papa" yet.
