Captain William G. Randle, a prominent official of the New York Shipbuilding Company, which ha* iu extensive plant in Camden Was at the Windsor over Sunday, accompanied by Mrs. Randle. Their home is in Chestef. Pa. They will occupy a cottage at Cape May during the season
of 1905.
Proprietor William H. Cbnrcb, of the Colonial Hotel, and family, bare been on an outing to the Pocono Mountains, in Pennsylvania. Y-sterday Mr. Church underwent an operation upon his nose in a a Philadelphia hospital. He has been recuperating health riuaing bis outing. His many friend* hope that the operation has piovrd successful. Mr. Francis Finn, a well-known young man, wbo has pawed all of his summer* j ,i Cape May, and who is a candidate for be ministry of the Protestant Eplscop-1 church, ha* during the past summer established s thriving mission at Cape May Point, which gives promise of growing considerably. Mr. Finn is an ardent worker for God, and is broad-minded, and has many time* visited and spoken to Sundayschools in this vicinity.

One of the mo«t Important matters thst bn* come before Ocean City Connell for a long time was the passage last week of an ordinance and several resolutions in the interest of the camp ground and board walk netUemeot When Ocean City wa* first organised a plot of ground, extend lug from the ocean to the bay, wa* dedicated on a plan o( lota, which plan wa* filed In the County Clerk's office, as s public park and camp-meeting ground. A few yean later an effort made to erect building* upon some of ground in question, bat the court* were appealed to and Upheld the dedication. The Legislature, at ita last seaeion, onea ed s way whereby the alleged dedication might be removed, and Connell and the Ocean City Association (the latter the owner of the land in ter) have agreed on a basis of settlement, and now the mi goes before the legal voters, to be decided bv them at the coming election. In conaideration of the city removing the alleged dedication, the city of Ocean .City is to receive eighteen lots and NI0.000 towarn the erection of two school houses, .while the association is to sign an i ment deed for the erection of a boardwalk 32 feet wide over iu property on tke ocean front, between First and Seventeenth sta., and to place at least 110,000 worth of Improvements on the said released land with-
