Whitaker and family spent Sunday with relatives at Dias Creek. Eugene Cole of Seaville was transact ing business in town on Saturday. Alfred Crease of Green Creek was visiting here on Monday. Capt. Chan. Vanaman of Dia* Creek was doing budneas here the first of the week. Frank Lake made a business trip to Wildwood on Friday. Mrs. Julia Van Udder of Millville is spending soma time with her mother, W Judith Hand. Alex Douglass and wife visited their children at Burleigh ou Sunday.

The fox hunters ol this place on Fri day last, chased a large grey fox all day and the only shot ws* fired by Capt. Reeves Douglass at 4 p. m., n< Gandy field on the Goshen road leading from Court House. The chase ended with Reynard still running. Mrs. George Fnck is on an extended visit with friends in Elmer, K. WOODBINE, Jan. 11 —A lecture was delivered on Friday, January 6 at the Agricultural School by Mr. 8. Wendkos of tbe University of Pennsylvania on “Books Worth While Reading.” Mr.. Wendkos dwelled mainly on the point that we read few books, but they should be the masterpieces of literature. Mr. A. R. Merrill returned with his wife on Saturday.
