In the Joly number of Appelton' Booklovers Magazine (the Book lovers Magazine, of Philabelphli, was recently purchased by D. Appleton A Comyany) will appear an article by |)r. Thomas W. Kvans, tbe American dentist who helped the Empress Eugene in her flight after the catastrophe of £edan. The writer describes in this article a visit he made to Napoleon III at WUheimiihobr, where Napoleon was held prixioner after his final defeatand capture. The article is taken from the a* yet unpublished memoirs of the writer.
