IMPORTANT CHANGE

The l*r

Irnllal Changra lla Doing business

The Prudential Insurance Company of America has ji portant change in its plans of doing businets, and it is issuing a new lift - policy, which the Company stales i* unexcelled in its attractive The Prudential will issue policies on a non-participating baais exclusively hcrcaflei Cniled Slates Senator John F. Dry-den, President of the Pruden- . in disscuiwing the subject, said: During the last two year* the insurance business a* transacted in this ■untry ha* lieen subjected to thorough and searching investigation and habeen made the object of considerabli legislation in the various Stales. •The Prudential emerged from the estignlion with unsullied record and unblemished reputation, continued on the successful cartel hich has made it a leader among fe insurance companies throughout

the world.

‘The Company has watched the trend ofevenls. and after most thoughtful consideration, the directors of the Company decided that all Ordinary business written on and after August 1, l«n, be issued on ihe non-participa-ting plan. This will give the beat life insurance protection al the lowi consistent with safety. The new Ordinary non-participa-ting policy of the Prudential eliminates all question as to dividends; nothg is estimated. The policy contract one of absolute certainty and it* payment is guaranteed by the great resourses of the Company. public is today looking for life ce at lowest cost and for a policy in which the dividends are anticipated, and The Prudential is issuing a policy which meets Uris demand. The new policy has been put in such plain English that it can be understood by anyone, and every rate, value and feature is absolutely guaran-t-ed. The policy, furthermore, is sold at a reduced rale, which will make it

popular.

"An enliral new feature, which we believe will commend itself, is that the loan value of the policy may be used automatically to keep the force should the policyholder be unable to meet the payment of premiums, the length of lime, of course, depending upon the numberofyearsduringwhich the premiums have been paid by the insured. When the policyholder U ready to lake up the policy again he will not have to pay up back

Riparian Leases in accord an or with an act of the Ix-gidat ure Of IflOfi a member of the State Board of Riparian Commissioners, in company with Mr. Payne, the secretary, a* a witness, has within the last week personally entered upon and taken po*«e*doti of a number of rlpar. inn propertieswhloii have been forfeited to the slate by non-payment of rental*. as discovered some years ago by the lale Attorney General (stockIon and Gray that there was no w ay under the as it then existed of enforcing Hit collection of back rentals and a law was passed by Uie licgtslalure at the suggestion of Attorney General Robert H? McCarter remedying Ihe defect. The leases on w hich there had been default in (be payment of rentals for long series of year* were more than forty in number, and embraced rii»aruui properties on the Hudson River, :he Kill von Kull, the Passaic River, Raritan Ray, the Navednk River, Staten Island Hound, Pleasure Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, the Delaware Rlvi Bamegal Bay and several other wale The total value of the w hole l* about £5UU,0U), but out of this are to be taken the properties located within the limits of the Palisade Park reservation, to the val ue of nearly $100,000. The law provides that after ad Using Uie properties a member of the Board of Riparian Commissioner* must personally enler upon and declare them forfeited to the state. This is now being done. Three of the lessees whose properties have been forfeited for non-payment of Rebecca Simpson, on the AtlanUc Ocean and Hereford Inlet. Jane G. Whildln, Cape May Point. Sea Grove Association, Cape May

Point.

It is a significant circumstance that although these properUw, located some of the choicest lands of the state, were leased at prices far below those now asked, Uie lesees did nol think ihem worth retaining at those price*. There have been some wild ideas espoused in regard to the value of the slate's riparian lands. John C. Payne of Jeraey City and William fluke of Trenton, members of ihe Board of Riparian Commissioners, arrived at the Lafayette last Friday b look over the Whilldln and Sea Grow rights today. Base Ball The fastest ball team seen on rilockton Lawn was what Manager Campbell threw up yesterday. He had the men there with ihe goods, and what -he Cape May boys did lo Uie Glareboro bunch was a-plenty.
