On Wednesday night n crowd of young men of West Cape May, tered the DAILY HERALD office In a most boisterous manner, and kidnapped the foreman, Orlando W. Lafferty. Without even haring n chance to take off his apron or lay down his printer’s tools, he was carried bodily to a. bus which had Just driven up In front of the building, and carted away to West Caps May. The destlna Uon was his own home, where a crowd of some fifty of his friends had prepared to give him a grand setont, which they did. They also presented him with some furniture and other things useful to a newly married cooMr. Lafferty had only entered Into this blissful state on the Saturday preceding.
