It will be remembered the company purchased the property on the southeast corner of Washington and Decatur streeta, for hlch they paid *10.000. Knerr, at her Deeetur street reaidenee, on Saturday evening, which partook of the character of a combined birthday ‘ and Halloween party. It was Mrs. Knerr’s birthday, and a number of relatives from outside points came in by evening train to celebrate the event, bringing with them numerous tokens of -remembrance and affection.
