RALLY DAY AT THE OLD BRICK 1 During the couree of the next few days every friend and member of the Old Brick Church, Oold Spring, will receive a letter of which the- following ia a copy : "Dear Friend: This letter is addressed to you as one interested in the Old Brick Oburcfc at, - Cold Spring, New Jersey, which has been bo intimately connected with the lives and history of the people of Lower Cape May County for "nearly two hundred years. On account of the death and removal of many of the old mem here of the church, the edifice has not been supported and maintained as many of its friends oould have desired. The interior of the -church has nol — been painted for more than twenty-five years, and at a meeting of the friends and members, held on the 5th day of July, it was decided to have a grand rally day at the old sanctuary when its members and friends could be present and make contribution for tbe thorough painting and renovating of the structure. According^, the ffadersigned Committee was appointed for the puroose, andlSunday, August 16th next, was selected as the day. Appropriate exercises will be held on that date and the attendance of^every friend of the church is desired. Special apeakoi the church is desired. Special speak-
ing and singing will be provided, and the Committee looks for'a pleasant reunion of old friends and neighbors. We trust that you will mak^ an earnest effort to be at the service on August 16th. In advance of -the day above mentioned the Committee desires to secure as many subscriptions to tbe fund as possible. A large sum will be required to put tbe Old Church in first class condition. We will appreciate it if you will communicate with tbe uodersigced, or any other member of the Committee, and let us know if we depend upon your contribution and also your presence at the Rally on August 16th.
