State Commissioner of | public roads, as expressed to the Ocean ( County Boa id of Freeholders, that the t ' proposed boulevard from Atlantic < Highlands to Cape May is an assured project. . . ) The commissioner stated that Gover- < nor Fort, is the head of ,the road department of the state, and the weight i of the state administration would be ( ) found back of the plan to create and maintain the ocean boulevard when j the Legislature convenes in Januaiy. The Commissioner is in favor of fol- , lowing the beach route Irom Sea ( Bright south to Sea Side Pack, there ■ building a bridge across Barnegat bay to the mainland, and thence taking tne j 1 sea shore route to Atlantic and Cape May counties. This should make about fifty miles I of the boulevard, including a big bridge in^ Ocean County. Thirty-five ' miles of this has already been _built on I the mainland, and about seven miles • , on the beach by the county. ' i The value of the coming ocean boule- ' | vard to the counties was shown at the meeting of the board of freeholders in 1 j Ocean; when this section of road was c ; accepted, when it was stated that real t ! estate investors had bought up all of , I tne land bordering the new road for a song and were holding it at $6000 for 100 foot loU. i . — ... | ARenledy C CATARRH | EljJs Cream Balm Glw Rebel at Once.
