Be it ordained and enacted by the inhabitants of the Oity of Cape May in City Council assembled, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the "section 1. That hereafter where any taxes shall not be paid on or before the T-entieth day of December following their assessment, interest there- ( on, fiom and after that date shall be added at twelve per centum per annum. D., . 1909, the Cape May Light and Power j Company, a corporation of the State of New Jersey, filed a petition -with the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the : County of Cape May, in the State of New Jersey, requesting its consent and permission to erect poles and string wires thereon, with the necessary fixtures in and upon certain County Roads in the County of Cape Mav, for the purpose of providing electric light and , power for the residents of Cape May • County residing on or near the said roads, and over which the said Board . of Freeholders have control. The time for which said consent and permission is asked is for a period of twenty years. The uses ir\ detail for which such , consent and permission is asked is to ' erect poles and string wires thereon, , with the necessary fixtures, for the purpose of providing electric light and power for the residents of Cape May County residing on or near said roads. The roads through and over which aaid consent and Permission is asked is : as follows, to wit : The Main Sea Shore Road from a point where the line of the poles of said company now end at Erma, to a point where the same is crossed by the West Jersey and Sea Shore Railroad at Burleigh ; the Schelliuger's Landing Road from the Bridge at Schellinger's Landing to a point where the same intersects the Main Sea Shore Road at Cold Spring ; - the Meadow Road to Holly Beach Oity from a point where the same intersects the Baid Main Sea Shore Road at Rio Grande to the borough limits of Holly Beach City ; the Greeil Creek Boad from a point where the same intersects the Main Sea Shore Road at Rio Grande to Schellinger's Corner at Green Creek. The aaid petition will be considered by the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Oape May. at the Court House, at Oape May Court House, New Jersey, at tbe hour of two o'clock p m.. or£the Sixth day of April, A.
