IN ORNNiNCE ■ An Ordinance of the Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Cape May, in the 8tate of New Jersey, granting consent and permission to The Cape Mav Light & Power Company, a corporation of the State of New Jersey, to erect poles and string wires thereon, with the necessary fixtures, in and upon certain County Roads in the County of Cape May. for the purpose of providing electric light and power for the residents of Cape May County residing on or near the said roads, and over which the said Board of Freeholders have control. The Board of Chosen Freeholders of tne County of Cape May, do ordain as follows ) . That no poles shall be erected 1 without first obtaining consent of the 1 owner or owners of the soil to the placing thereof. 8. That said poles so erected by the said Company shall be neat and svmmetrical and shall not be less than twenty-five feet in length andtshali be so erected as in no way to interfere with the safety or convenience of pere sons traveling on or over the said - roads, streets or highways. 4. That all poles erected under this . ordinance shall be erected under the ' supervision of the Committee of The Board of Chosen Freeholders of the 1 County of Cape May, or its duly authorized agent for that purpose, 1 said Board peserving the right and having the authority to make any change or changes of the location of said poles which may * hereafter be deemed necessary, whicb change or changes when so made, ' shall be made at the expense of said 1 Company : and said Company shall re- { place and re-lay any side walk or street pavement which may have been t misplaced or damaged by it in the erection of said poles, and to leave the t ? same in as good condition as they were j in before the erection thereof. | 5. That this ordinance shall be inoperative and void as to any of the | roads above named, unless the company {shall erect its poles and string its wires thereon with the necessary fixtures, and comply with the other terms of this ordinance, within a period of eighteen months from and after the passage of the same. 8. That this ordinance shall not beeffective unless an acceptance in writing of such ordinance shall 'be filed by said Company with the Clerk of The Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Cape May within thirty days after receiving notice of the pasof such ordinance. 9; That this ordinance shall take effect immediately after its final passage and due publication; and the^costs and expense of preparing, printing and publishing the same shall be paid by the said Company.
