WE'RE WAITING FOR THE SEASHORE TROLLEY West Cape May May 15, Mr. Editor: Tour interesting reference to the coming seashore trolley service in last 1 week's issue, leads us to remind your : readers that so far as X Oape May County Is to be supplied, a company was organized to give us such service i some eight years ago, between your i city and Court House over the Seashore road. And we remember quite I well bow cheerfully our own enter- ' prising citizens and the borough un- < kJntediy gave it the right of way. But after all said and much it was, the < trolley failed to materialize. i It certainly must have been apparent years ago, with the population cluster- 1 ing and increasing along its entire i length and with rapidly growing cen- ' tres of settlement and expansion at its I ends and proposed extensions to other beaches, as being very much needed and becoming more and more a profitable investment I Have yoa not noted many trolley r lines running mil's through very 1 sparsely settled communities and often £ for miles over long stretches of timber or barren land, seemingly for the ac- F oommodation (of the few which in a l remarkably short time created a de- r xnand of many between the terminals and its interlinking system of comrhu- c, nication. w In a trip to the western country, a: promoters do not wait in the suburban d;

districts of their cities, do not lay out streets and wait for the people to buy * lots and build up a town, but in their plans is a street railway built first of til, - thus taking away all uncertainty and delay of easy and open communication with the principal centres of the city as the immediate attraction and inducement to individual buyers and builders. And we note as a notable and striking instance of this i enterprisiog plan, Kansas City, Mo. , by which it has most marvelouly extended rfnd multiplied its population within the last decade. Every ingredient entering into the ; world-famed ' '-Golden Medical Discov- ■ ery" of Dr. Pierce, has the unanimous . approval and endorsement of the lead- i ing medical authorities of all the sev- i eral schools of practice. Mandrake root and chemically pure, triple-refined glycerine. "The Common Sense Medical Adviser," is sent free in paper covers on receipt of 21 one-cent stamps to pay the cost of mailing only.
