ItlOH SCHOOL ST COUBT HOUSE J At a special school meeting held in the High School building last Tuesday there was considerable discussion as to the necessity of building a new 110,000 1; high school, but the appropriations • were carried with an overwhelming < majority. The appropriations upon j which the people were divided were j for current expenses, amounting to j 18075.80, the sum deemed necessary by f the Board oCEducation ; and the reso- ( lotion, that'thelBoard ofEducation be ] authorized to erect a new high school c at Cape M 7 Court House and tofcurehase for the building, the school furniture and necessary equipment. The entire cost 'not to exceed B10. 000, pay- j able in bonds of B500 each onDec ember f 81 of each year. The building'will be erected on the V present school grounds and built'of c brick. The second story will form the £ assembly room. On the first 'floor y there will be three rooms, for the high d school work. The old building will be r used for the grammar grades. f Principal W.
