Its particular charm . is in the perfect harmony which is in . evidence in color, furniture design and 1 other details throughout the bouse. c This has been noticed and commented upon by numerous viators. details which must be arranged properly to supplement tbe skill of the chef before his accomplishments will be recognized by the guest who ultimately receives his product The instant success of the Hotel Oape May is due to a mastery of every detail of hotel management by Mr. Doyle, which has enabled him to produce a tout ensemble in which not a false note appears An irrefutable proof of his complete suo- „ cess is in the return of his last season's guests for longer sojourns this season. , (• (• <9 Over 9000 barrels of fish have been , caught by the pound fishermen at Anglesea up to date. The Philadelphia Hotei Reporter's May letter says : "This beautiful and historic old resort is taking on new activity as tbe comes along. Visitors are at struck with the remarkable way which new tracts of land are being opened up and built upon. Land which heretofore has been assessed and regarded as farm land has been found to worth thousands of dollars, and as a result of this boom in affairs several companies have been'organized to take up all tbe available farm land near or bandy to this city. The boom is a permanent one and is y?d lie to the several million tolre expended here of recent years on the vast operations for tbe betterment of the resort. There are several known of land remaining yet and which will prove a bftnanza to their fortunate owners.

The hotels have all been doing fairly well heretofore, but now look for the „ grand rush. Colonel Oreswell, of the j big and popular Windsor, is kept busy j making his comfortable house more f popular and attractive than ever, and j it is even rumored that the Windsor has booked a very distinguished guest for } later in the season that will make Bar s Harbor society look like a canceled I one cent postage stamp. Mr. Cres- } well positively refuses to give an inkj ling wbo this dignitary is but some say it is none other than the late t President Castor, of Venezuela, who is coming from Trinidad Island with his j suite of 18 people and that be has t leased one whole floor in the Windsor. Captain John Tracey has removed from bis pleasant country place at ' Lanadale, Montgomery County, to the ! Lafayette, which he will conduct in his usual excellent manner this season.
