Sworn and subscribed before me this 4th day of January, A. D., 1910. SAMUEL F. ELDREDGE. M. C. C. of N. J. , The following resolutions were passed by Jthe Board of Trade at a special meeting held Monday evening and forwarded to Governor Fort : Whereas,- There seems to be some question as to whether the dredging of the Inland Waterway will be continued from the point near Holly Reach, at which work was stopped, to its completion, and Whereas, The dredging of this important waterway in spots will not prove beneficial to any section, and ~ Whereas, The most continuously and - thickly settled portion of our coast lies oetween Cape May and Atlantic City, therefore, be it Resolved. That this Board of Trade of the opinion that to expend any ion of the gear's appropriation for the Inland -Waterway elsewhere than between Holly Beach and Atlantic until this ac tion of the waterway completed, would be a great mistake and retard the uaetulness of the waterway immeasurably, and. be it further Resolved, That a certified copy of resolution be forwarded to our , Honorable Governor and friend to the seashore, Hon. John Franklin Fort, and his consideration respectful!} asked.
