In all my life I never saw such a sight. They swarmed over large area* of golden-rods like Pharoah'a locusts, though leaving no destruction in their wake, gentle creatures they are. Some say they an hunting places for the winter, so I suppose they were kiasigg the golden-rods goodbye. The wasps, too, turned out in swarms, trying to find shelter from the cool wave that is here, I presume. Old-time resi dents say they have never seen so many before. The boys are having a great time with an old boat that has washed up on ' the beach. It is the "Mabel Nellie." No one seems to know where it came THE POMONA GRANGE MEETING From a Specia Correspondent. The autumn meeting of the Cape May Pomona held in Tuckahoe on Wednesday was a complete success. The weather being perfect, and the attendance good.
