GOSHEN s Just a few showers but everybody rejoices. Canning factory closed last week. A number of our people attended the Children's Day aervice at Dias Creek Sunday evening and were greatly pleas- - ed with the entertainment. Our fanners have been having great discouragement, owing to the dry weather. Mrs. Adele Sullivan of Iowa, arrived in town on Thursday for a six week's visit among her Gape May friends. She lias spent forty five years in the west, but is happy to again visit the scenes' of her childhood. F. W. James and family were visitors in Cape May CSty on Saturday. Mrs. Richard Carpenter, of California, who is visiting her parents Win. C. Tomlin and wife, is looking remarkably well, which shows the California climate agrees with her. Miss Rita Tomlin is happy in resting at home after a year in Temple College. Harry High went to Oamden on Saturday, to report at headquarters for tiain work on the Pennsylvania. Francis Gurney James, visited Cape on Friday, was the guest of Mark Scull. She speht part of the time at City Hall, taking civil service examination. A NEW REGIME AT THE CAPE MAY FARMSTEAD We would ask you who reads this, whether a permanent resident^' Cape May, or a summer visitor, to make a visit to the Cape May Farmstead, where improvements in all directions have been effected since last season. Here you will see an up-to-date Dairy, a magnificent Herd of Jersey Cattle, Tuberculin tested, and a I'ouksgr and Duck Farm that can hardly be excelled. In addition, the herd is under the direct inspection of the State Veterinarian. The Cows are groomed twice daily, and Udders are carefully washed before each milking. Each milker wears a white linen aiiit and the Milk is drawn from the Cow into covered Sterilac Milk Pails which are furnished with a double set of strainers to pi event auy foreign matter contaminating the milk. The Dairy is fitted with all known appliances to ensure the purity of the milk, and all mechanical work is done by electricity. To take all these precautions "a»d provide the best appliances, has- been an enormous e> pehse, and why has this been done? so that our patrons should have such absolutely pure milk that it can hardly be surpassed no matter what source it comes from. Milk is acknowledged to be s<< necessary an article of diet that no precaution taken can be. too great to ensure its reliability. Commencing with the "first Of fune we will" sppply select family milk, with a 5% buffer fat test at 20c per quart. This will la* supplied only in paper non-r-f!ll»hle bottle*: The nursery Milk will be sold at 15c per quart and the household milk at 10c per quart.
