ORiy NANCE __ j 'An ordinance authorizing the- Cape j May. Dels ware Bay and Seweli's Point ] Railroad Company to lay tracks on certain streets in the City" of Cape May." •Section 1. Be it ordained and enacted by the inhabitants of the City of Cape May. in City Council assembled i and it is hereby enacted by authority of the same, that the Cape May, Delaware Bay and Sewell's Point Railroad Company is hereby authorized and empowered to lay down and construct, operate « and maintain an extension of its tracks from the East ride of Pittsburgh avenue in the City of Cape May, thence in a curve to the right of twelve degrees. three minutes and thirty-six seconds through the -prpperty of the Cape May Real Estate Company. Section 2. And be it further ordained and enacted by the authority aforesaid that the Cape May, Delaware Bay apd Sewell's Poi/it Railroad Company is authorized and empowered to lay down, construct, operate and maintain an extension of its track from the Southeast ride of Washington Street at terminus on a curve to the left having a radius of one hundred feet, to a point four feet east of the Northwesterly curb line of Washington street, thence by a reverse curve, bv a radii of hundred fifty feet connecting with the main track in the eentre line of Washington street. Section 3. And be it further ordained and enacted that said tracks or railroad shall be laid and maintained in ac'cordanco with the established grade or grades of said streets and that' the said Cape May. Delaware Bay and Sew- 4 ell's Point Railroad Company shall keep good, repair and maintain in good order their tracks between rails, and two feet outside of their respective rails through all streets granted to said I Company by this ordinance and to make good all damages caused by laying their rails through said street. Section 4. And be It further ordain - I ed and enacted by the authority afore1 said that the cars to be operated upon j the extension of the tracks hereinberore I mentioned shall be operated only by electricity as the motor power. Section 5. And be it father ordained and enacted by the authority afore- | said that all rails shall be flat rails on ' and along Washington Street aforesaid. I Section 6. And be it further ordained and enacted by the authority aforesaid that the expense of publication of this ordinance shall be paid by the Cape . May. Delaware Bay and Sewell's Point < Company. Section 7. And be it further ordained and enacted by the authority aforesaid, that this ordinance shall take effect immediately after its approval by the Mayor, provided that the said Oape May.
