DROWNING AT ANGLESEA One mail, .lolin Lorcland. of Trenton, Vr.o drowned, and two others, whose aSmes are unknown, narrowly escaped ' the same fate when the Ktta K., the • fishing steamer of Anglesea ran aground on the dangerous Hereford bar at the . entrance of the inlet Monday evening. The Ktta K, in charge of Captain Al. Rialev had taken about ten fishermen out to tiie banks where they spent the day. Upon tlieir return there was a strong nor'easter and the seas were running high. As he made ah attempt to eraas the bar the boat struck the shoals an3 lay helpless. Be it ordained and enacted b> the inhabitants of the City of Cape May. in City Council assembled and it is hereby enacted bv author. iv of the same, that the Cape May, Delaware . Bay and Sewell'a Point Railroad Company is hereby authorized aud empowered to l*y down and construct, operate and maintain an extension of its tracks 1 from the East side of Pittsburgh ave- . nue in the City of Capo May, thence ] in a curve to the right of twelve degrees, three minutes and thirty-six seconds through the property of "the Cape t May Real Estate Compaiiy. Section 2. And be it further ordained . and enacted by the authority aforesaid that the Cape May, Delaware Bay and SeweH's Point Railroad . Company is - hereby authorized and empowered to I lay down, construct, operate and maintain an extension of its track from the Southeast side of Washington Street at ■ its terminus on a curve to the left havi ing a radius of one hundred feet, to a , point four feet east of the Northwesterly curb line of Washington street, thence by a reverse curve, by a radii of 1 one hundred fifty feet connecting with the main track in the centre line of Washington street. Section 3. And.be it further ordained and enacted that said tracks or 'railroad shall be laid and maintained in accordance with the established grade or 1 grades of said , streets and that the said Cape May. Delaware Bay and Sew- 4 ell's Point Railroad Company shall keep in good repair and maintain in good order their tracks between rails, andtwo feet outside of their respective rails through all streets granted to said Company by this ordinance and to make . good al] damages caused by laying their « rails through said street.
