SPRAYING DEMONSTRATIONS HELD LAST WEEK There were three spraying demonstraheld last week at some of the various orchard demonstration farms in this county. The first was held on the farm of Elsworth Somers. Tuckahoe. N. J; the second at Capt. Chas. Yanaman's and the third on the farm of Aaron Woolson, Fishing .Oeek. The attendance at these demonstrahas not been very large, owing to the facfthat the farmers are so busy planting; they don't feel as though thfcjr could spare time to attend these demonstrations. However those attending were much interested in the work and anxious to Jeara better methods of orchard management, whereby they could grow more and better fruit. We wish you would visit any of these orchards at any time during the season and note the general conditions. I find that many growers are paying prioes for their spray materials by from agents or local dealers. By co-operating and buying in larger quantities each farmer could get his spray material; no matter how small the quantity at wholesale prices. The office of Farm Demonstration will glady furnish the names and addresses of reliable manufacturers of spray materials, to anyone writing for this information. Make any of your agricultural probknown to this office and we will endeavor to solve tliem for you. The questions you ask the more knowledge will be gained and we want to help any way possible.

Mr. Roscoe DeBaun, the Specialist in Market Gardening and Mr. Alfred S. Cook, Dairy Husbandry from the New n Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station will spend a couple of days this week .j in Cape May Oountv. We will visit as many farms as posc sible taking up any problems we may meet with, also inquiring into general conditions along the lines of market gardening and dairying and probably arranging for future demonstrations in these lines.
