STATE SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS The twenty-sixth competitive examination for Free Scholarships in Rutgers College, the New Jersey State College, will be held at the Court building, Cape May Court House, on Friday and Saturday, June 4th and 6th, 1915, beginning promptly at 9 a. m. and continuing until 6 p. m. each day, and will be conducted by the county superintendent of schools. Particular attention is called to the fact that these scholarships are open to candidates for the degree of Bachelor of Arts A. B.), and for the degree of Bachelor of Letters (Litt. B.), as well as for the degree of Bachelor of Science (B. Sc). In 1915, the number of points required for admission to the A. B. course will be 15 points, to the Litt. B. course 15 points, to the General B. Sc. course 15 points, and to the Technical B. Sc. courses 16" points. On Friday, June 4th, the subjects for examination will be — English, A, B, 9-11, counting as 3 points, required of all candidates. United States History, English' History and Med. and Mod. History, 11-1, either counting as 1 point, optional for all candidates. Greek, A. B. C, 2-4, each year counting 1 point, required of A. B. candidates. German, A, B, C, and French, A, B, C, 2-4, each year, counting as 1 point, optional for Litt. B. and B.Sc. candidates. Physics and Chemistry, 4-6, either counting as 1 point, one or the other required of B.Sc. candidates; both may be offered. Botany and Zoology, 4-6. either or both counting as 1 point, optional for B.Sc candidates. On Saturday, June 5th, the subjects will be— Algebra, 9-11, counting as 2 points, required of all candidates. Plane Geometry, 11-1, counting as 1 point, required of all candidates. Ancient History, 2-3, counting 1 point, required of A. B. and Litt. R. candidates; optional for B. Sc. candidates. Latin, * A, B, C, D, 3-6, each year, counting as 1 point, required of A. B. and litt. B. candidates; optional for B.Sc. candidates Solid Geometry and Plane Trigonometry, 3-6, each eonnting as 1-2 point, required of Technical B.Sc. candidates. Candidates may take part of these examinations at the end of their third High School year, as preliminaries. Prof Quimby lias worked wonders in our school, having taken it at holiday time and it was surely in a very bad condition. However, Mr. Treib-' ler has kindly consented to return -ittid give the address next Sunday morning, May 23d, at 10.30 in the hall, to which < all are invited to attend.
