Many of the Society's wards are leading their classes. He - also stated that from all parts of » the State the Society is receiving applications for children, particui little girls, from people of ? wealth and refinement, professional men and mechanics, from 1 farmers and laborers. ? Mr. Stock spoke of the need of a new fire proof Receiving Home, t the present building l>eing inade- - quate for the present needs of tha s Society. He then presented the need of money, saying "We»need it today, we will need it tomorrow, and we will need it every day of * this new fiscal year.
