The children's contests are cToking a great deal of interest and popularity. Yesterday's event was, perhaps, the most largely attended of those events season, and the little folka, in their smart togs,, presented a very beautiful scene. AFFRAY AT WILDWOOD Wednesday's daily Star and Wave Jeff Lloyd, a -colored man, of Wild-v-ood, was attacked by three colored and stabbed to death, yesterday. The cause of the attack is a mystery, Lloyd was a man of good reputation.
