FARMERS' INSTITUTE MEETINGS WELL ATTENDED. The 'Gold Spring Farmers ' Institute Meeting held in the Cold Spring Grange on last Wednesday, was very well attended when we take into eonsideratlM the weather conditions that day. • It wae anything hut agreeable being »«ry oold and windy and was hardly fit far man or beast to be out. The total attendance reached 105 and all were very much interested in the subjects discussed at this meeting., lie lsdies of the grange served a very fine Chicken Pot Pit dinner and a pot luck supper, it beiag needless to say that every one enjoyed the eats. The South Seaville meeting was attended by a total of 90 perse ns. Farmers' Institute meetings will be held at Tuckaboe on February 14th, and at Woodbine on February 16th. It is hoped for a larger attendance at ' the future meetings; just as much de- 1 pending on the attendance as on the •peakers. "Rural Life Conference" to be held at Rutgers' College, New Brunswick, New 1 Jersey, December 27th to December 30th, inclusive.
