CONDITIONS WILL BE WORSE A petition was filed in tbe County Clerk's office last week, calling for an election to be held on Tuesday, June 27tb, in Cape May county, to vote for tbe adoption or rejection of a small Board of Freeholders. If carried, the ' county at next November's election will elect three Freeholders to conduct the county affairs, who will take the place of the twelve members now constituting the board. SEASIDE HOME TO OPEN The formal opening rf the Seaside Home at Cape May Point will take plana on Saturday, June 24,- when a luncheon will be served for the managers and - friends of the Home at 1220 Ut whictf the committee in charge have made a general invitation to all interested tn the home to attend. Tbe Seaside Home was founded quite a number of years ago with the in tea* tion of giving poor children an outing to the seashore for a week. Theee chil* dren come from the slums of PhQadah phis and after leaving the home to gtf hack to the city they have a highs view of life and feel like different young* sters.
