maky riopiie saturday 'and sunday trips — carrying near capacity om other trips. The new boat tine hte' jAown that jt is not u attracflon that will noon be loat Jjy the number <tf people that -are now using it. On Saturday evening the boat came down, filled to its greatest capacity while four hundred people were turned away, two hundred at the wharf in Philadelphia and two hundred by phone. In addition to this forty out of eighty people from Chester wqre turned away, and a number of people in Lewes were not able to come across until the excursion trip later in the day. On the return trip it was the same story— the boat was too popular to accommodate the entire number of people that desired to travel on it, about a hundred people being turned away at Se well's Point. From this we can easily expect that there will be another boat in operation between Philadelphia and Cape the line have daily service because of the fact that this boat has proven that it will pay. ~ The excursion trips to Lewes have also become popular and in addition to the passengers many baskets of fruit are brought here by the boat. s Automobilists are learning of' the delightful rides possible thru Delaware and are taking their cars bctobs on the boat and after riding around. take the boat home CHANGE IN PRICES. A change in the running time of the Steamboat '"Cape May" has been made, thex boat leaving Se well's Point at 5 p. ~m. instead of 6.30 as formerly. Another . change is the price of the trip to Lewes. ' The round trip fare has been reduced j from $1.00 the round trip to 75 cents, while the one way trip has been reduced from 75 to 50 cents. This will make the trip even more popular than it was heretofore and it is. expected that these excursion trips will be crowded to the 1 boat's capacity. pianos tuned C. S. R I MORE GO TO THE RIGHT SIGNS PLACED ON STREET.1 The experiment of the "Go to the Right" sign at the corner of Washington and Perry Streets has led the city to place like signs at the coiners of all the principal -tn-ets. In addition to these signs at tiie intersection of the streets danger zones have been created at the corners of the streets, zone signs having placed ten feet from the corner. No vehicles arc permitted to stand in these zones thereby making safe crossings possible under the heaviest traffic. No accidents have occurred at the crossbut the city officials in charge have been broad sighted enough to prepare before an accident should occur. These ' signs make possible much safer traveling for both vehicles and pedestrians.
