COLD SPRING Miss Edna Hawn, of Erma, took tea with Mias Magpie Weldon, Sunday afternoon. Twenty-two members of the Tabernacle Sunday School attended- the S. S. Convention at Goahen. The Bell Telephone Co. has already installed several phones, and is now operating them from their new office at A.,H. Swain's. Mias Vivian Johnson, of Wildwood, .spent Wednesday afternoon with ■ her friend, F. P. Hoffman. ENROUTE TO FLORIDA The steel steam yacht "tradis,1 from Newport bound for Ormond Reach. Florida, cast anchor in the harbor on Sunday evening and left there early the following morning. The craft had on board .T. 0. Kilday and party of friends who will spend the winter in the South.

HIGH SCHOOL NEWS NOTES 0. P. Butterwick, principal oi Cape ; May High School, announced in the assembly rood on Tuesday last that the school would' take part on an elaborate i scale in the 1 Hallowe'en Carnival, next - Tuesday. Besides a large numbgr of pupils in uniform costume, the school | • - will enter a number of- individuals in 1 i. varied and grotesque dress, and also a e large float appropriately decorated. The Seniors of the High School have planned » a surprise in the way of dress, and they promise something very unique for the e parade. The Juniors also have somes' tiling tucked away in some unfrequented corner and we are assured that they j e will hold up their end of the line. Wilson's analysis of the Confederate Constitution, the principles of which have been applied very largely to this government during this administration was also quoted. The speech contained other telling points from recent history and was regarded as one of the most forceful made during the campaign.
