W. W. Atteri at Brood Street Station. Six memof the Board of Freeholders, the Mayors of Wildwood Crest and Stone and City Commissioners from l and Chamber of Commerce members from -Sea Isle City, Avalon and Stone Harbor were present. Discussion centered on the joint use automobiles and electric cars of the railroad bridges at Corsons and Town- ( send's pilots in connection with the use of the proposed county bridges at Hereford and Cold Spring Inlets. An agreement of this kind, it was pointed out, between the county and the railroad company would result in a sarI of thousands of dollars to both in (bridge construction, operation and mainIt .would also reduce the numof bridges across the inlets or thoroughfares which interfere more or less with navigation. The advantages of -a high speed inter- | resort electric service from Philadelphia . | and Atlantic City to Cape May were ' dwelt upon and the benefits that the (railroad company and the resorts would derive were discussed. The eliminations of the dangerous grade crossings on the mainland above Cape May was urged by the railroad officials. •' The bridge matter was referred to i learning Rice, County Engineer, and Mr. James E. Buckclew, Superintendent j for an agreement as to tentative plans ! the joint use of the present and proposed bridges. .-
