W ist adventures, hardships, __ fortune and glorious romance in store for this mischievous tomboy! ""Mickey" is an epoch making picture. Don‘t fail to see it. Lak Sod Whether you are old or whether you are young or whether you are just wavering between the two, it is said you are sure to enjoy "Mickey." "Mickey" is an unusal picture. . It is not just like all other comedics that eontain much of the same old material just glossed up a little bit. It contains much that is new, and it is at the same time wholesome, entertaining and genwinely amusing. | It has lie share of melodrama, too. + Everybody knows that it f much harder to make people Imugh tham to make them cry. But Mack Sennet shows in "Mickey" that he has got the science down to an art. He doesn‘t force the Imughs out. They — come matu-ally, spontaneously, | readily | by the time he has introduced you . to "Mickey" and a few of her associates, it said. — And if there is anything that people want to do it is to laugh. Mickey is the sort of person every one loves in spite of themselves. Shes‘ mot exactly a tomboy; she‘s just mis: chievous, full of gay spirit and has a heppy way of taking things rather philosophically. | She is all the time upsetting people and herself, but of course all those who are really worth while love her, and love her dearly. Mickey has her share of adventure, too, plenty of it. It comes to a cllmax in the last reel, which contains one of the biggest punch screens that has ever been seen in many a day, if is maid. | But it would be a pity give it away, and it would spoil great deal of excitment to let anybod: Anto the secret until they have had hance to. see it for themselves. Mabel Normand is said to have be c 3°. seems that she never looked so pretty as in those beautiful California tings, with her little patched up ove alls, But her portrayal is marked with a fine sense of values, Her comedy mot overdone, und her naturalines throughout is one of her chief In "Mickey" Misa Normand does some of her best work, _oom- * m Special Offer, limited time only a 245 3-20-1t ErreTuRpTU 3 Perfection O! GRAND MASTER F. AND a. 5. HERE Tuesday evening witnessed big doings in Cape Island Lodge, No. 50 F, and A. M. For the first time in many years, the brethren here enjoyed the honor of a visitation from the M. W. Grand Maxter and other M. W. officers of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. They were received by the two or three hundred brethren present with all the uncient honors of the craft and since every lodge in the county was represented, it might be styled greoting from the freemasons of the entire county. The Grand Officers present were: Most Worshipful Grand Master of the State of New Jersey, Herbert W. Rprick of Newark, accompanied by Senior and Junior Grand Wardens and the Grand Marshall, The ceremonies and addresses of the evening were very instructive and interesting and after the close of the lodge, refreshments were served . in good old Masonic profusion, and . a pleasant social time enjoyed. COLUMBIA HOTEL TO oPENy The Columbia Hotel on Ocean St., under the supervision of the Mecray Brothers will be opened for Easter and remain open for the entire semson. Since the Hotel was purchased | by these men, it has been conducted successfully and is always unable to find accommodations for all who apply, as people have learned of the high standing and efficiency of the hotel, and it is in great demand. . One would do well to make early bookings in order to be assured of accommodations for Easter, and the early summer. _smtaeREV, MR, NICHOLSON APPOINTED TO CAPE MAY chuBCH Rev. Graves connected hime self with Cape May in the first cane, me m cottuger and for a number of years, he and family, were mort highly ee- — teemed here by all who knew him. Perhaps Mr. Graven‘ first business interest here was model farm known us Cape May Farmstead, which he Imunched ten or twelve years ago and has been from time to time enlarging Jand improving. It is one of.the largent farming enterprines in the county conducted in the most approved modern manner and of incalculable value to ether farmers as an illustration of scientific methods. It was not until Mr. Graves personally took hold of the Cape May Real Estate Company‘s holdings that things began to move in this enterprise. The story of the reasons which attracted him to this project no much out of his usual business track, can be told fully by Mr. Graves alone, but at the base was the vision of a greater Cape May in the not distant future and the far-sighted grasp of the immense possibilities in the Cape May Harbor and other featuren of location, climate, water routes, and seaport ade vantages, that inspired him. . This vision in even now fully justified by events and in the unfolding of the future there will be much more complete justification. | Uncle Sam‘s cye was on the harbor for a long time, before he determined to make use of it with a finality, which is most conclusive, He has given ample evidence of his [belief that it is to him one of the im» , |portant spots on the Atlantic count. amd has planted himself here for all time.
