Is the County Board of Chosen Freeholders to be prevafied upon to take over our Beach Avenue and other streets connecting with which makes the route to the inlet complete or are we to consider that the honror and distinetion of having one of our representatives on the board the presiding officer, the director, is sufficient for the annual expenditure by Cape May City of $80,000 or $10,000 in county tax. So far it has as yet to receive the first dollar of expenditure of county funds on its highways. Is it true also, that work is to be stopped until spring on the roads the quality of th eroads that resorts are made or ruined. . We‘ve got plenty of wise guys, why do they not get busy ? Every resort in the country, large or small excepting Cape May, has been assisted by the county‘s taken over streets and building roads. .
