ANOTHER FAMILY BIBLE Mr. John Woolston Reeves has kindly given to Dr. Howe for examination the family bible of the brother of his grandfather, Adonijah Reeves, a record of unusual interest because of it age. The title page of the Old Testament in missing,-but those of the New Tes tament and the metrical version of the Pralms at the end are intact. | The date of both title pages | is given, "Edenburgh, Printed by | Alexander| Kincaid His Majesty‘s Printer, 1765" The version of the Psalms is prefaced by the statement that they are, "plain smoth, and agreeable to the Text, than any hetherto. Allowed by the Authority of the General Assembly of the Kirk of Scotland, and appointed to be sung in Congregations and Families. The enteries are as follows: February the 21 day, 1781 I was Maried To Mary Beliengy.". "Aaron Reeves Was Borm October the, 25th Day 1781."
