port of the public, as was given both goes to show that the people ; { really want a good county fair and willing to go any reasonable i to get it. The agricultural exhibits were in numbered quality greater than those , <jf last year. The farmers and their placed special emphasis upbn , fruit this year and consequently I brought specimens of apples, peaches, pears, and quinces, of quality such as to be second to none in the state. Exhibiaion space for commercial i such^as tractors, auto trucks, electric light plants, victrolas, pipeless heaters, spray materials, and iarm machinery was well taken up, thus giving our Fair th apnea ran< of one of the larger , fairs. Hie State Bureau of Hygiene, AntiTuberculosis League, League of Women Voters, Red Cfi»ss, W. C. T. U. by their untiring efforts lent dignity to the fair and imparted useful knowledge along lines not especially _ featured at other fairs. The horse racing, base ball games, and flying made interesting sports for many and each sport was well attended by its champions. . Owing to the abundance of farm produce many of the fine exhibits of the grangers and Vocational school almost went begging when sold at auction. APPLES Baldwin — Wilhemina Powell.
