Go .-din Lumber Company, on the roof of their store and office building at the corner of Schellenger and Holly Beach Avehues. This sign is a distinct innovation in outdoor advertising , for WUdwood. The sign when' lighted can be read with comparative ease as we. far aw&y as Atlantic Avenue.

MISS GLENN GIVEN SHOWER -• A miscellaneous .shower was given at the home of Mrs. Ejjwin T. Bradway, 117 West 19th Avenue in honor of Miss Katie Glenn, tvho hits recently announced' her engagement to (George Lehman, of Cape May. A • lively evening was spei.it in games and contests}-- -ofie of them was a towel hemming contest in which the men shoWed remarkable deftness. The prize winner was Thomps Webstef and Harold ^Hughes captured the booby award.' The towpl turned in by Edwin Bradway was neatly bound with galvanized iron while Charles Glenns was cleverly ruffled. v v ■ Miss Glenn was presented with a clothes basket full of beautiful and useful articles each one' being cleverly labedel with a_ quotation indi- , eating its future u^g._ The reading of these quotations and the unwrapping of them cfiused a great deal of merriment and the blushing bride to%e would have preferred opening some minus an audience. About midnight, standard time, the dining room doors were swung apart I and the guests were ushered into the room where a beautifully laden lable | tastefully decorated in pink- and ..white was arranged. Miss Gleiyi was seated in the prettily decorated seat of honor.
