WHERE FISHING |i IS WORTH WHILE ' ANGLERS OF THE PAST WEEK IJ HAVE VARIED LUCK AT THEIR ' FAVORITE SPOTS — FLOUND- ! ERS STILL PLENTIFUL. j Fishing during the past week, has been as varied as there has been j numbers 'of. fishermen. < Anglers trying their luck at Cape j May Paint off the jetties, which for the past two summers have been -> ideal report that early in the week A Weak fish bit freely but from the t] middle of the week until Tuesday of . this ,week "skates" and a few flound- , ers. were all that were landed. j 11 Off the "stone pile" at , Sewell's h Point, Cape May, the result has been similar altho a few small weak fish been* added to the days catch. At Rio Grande Draw Bridge eels u and large flounders have been biting n freely all the week and'to add to the j] zest there have been many "skates" c added to the String, much to the anglers' disgust. On the beach front pf; Five Mile Beach king^frsh have been running to a some extent ahd some few weak fish ^ and flounders. / ' . ; . Drum have commenced to bite on the banks in the Delaware and some c report intermittent' catches of red r drum off Two Mile Beach in the t surf. Up to date however the most successful fishermen have, been those who tried their skill in 'turtle Gut , Inlet on the Two Mile Beach. The s : main draw back to this spot is the - fact that it is necesewwto leave any : kind of aanveyari'ce on tne Crest side : of the inlet and walk across thq_dam ' 1 and then out to the mouth of the in- , let. A matter of perhaps forty-five minutes walking. To the ardent follower of Isaac Walton a few minutes i more or desS are -mere incidents and . so there has been every day a large . group of good casters gathered on . the waters edge. To be successful at - Turtle Gut Inlet it is necessary to beable to cast a hundred feet or so. At Norbury's Landing, Green Creek, another favorite starting point with many of our experienced anglers the season has hardly opened yet but most of the party boats are ready for the season and most of them were busy last Sunday.
