CHANNEL RE-DREDGED AND POUND BOATS ARE ENABLED TO LEAVE INLET— SOME DISCUSSION ABOUT SECURING LARGE DREDGE TO OPEN THE CHANNEL. Anglesea refuses to be thrown ihto the discard by fishermen and fleets and there are plans on foot to come back strong in bidding for business. The channel has been dredged in the past week 'and the pound boats are now making their trips from Hereford Inlet. Stone Harbor, folk who have been in the habit of coming to Wiildwood to spend some hours can still do so as the party boats are now running between that resort and Anglesea as in other years. To make I the Inlet a harbor as it was in years past, however, it will be necessary to get a larger dredge on the jobs It is estimated that it "will require the Atlantic Dredge two days to clear the way for the craft andtbe cost wall be approximately $7003)0 a day or $1400.00 for the contract. One North Wildwood property owner, has offered $200.00 to start a fund for SmyiBkrgeac person or persons in-

terested to get around with a subscription paper and collect* the balance. It Is thought this will not be too difficult because all Anglesea tea5 tires {hat in self • preservation sotpe thing must be done to keep Ahp fishing and party boats industry at home. At prescitt there is a noticeable decrease *in the nufr^er of excursionists traveling at a dog trot from the trains to the docks for a best position, on the outside party boats- Federal aid has., already been sought but nothing defin« has been reported as yet.
