Thomas Faber, 22 years old, 148 Briggs Avenue, Brooklyn, an acrobat of the vaudeville team of Benson Faber Company, billed to appear here this week at the Nixon, was badly eut on the arms and body when he dived thru a closed window on the second floor of the Iradell apartments, Pacific and Pine avenues, and he received js dislocated hip and fractured .thigh when he struck the ground. The accident occurred Monday morning. Faber was taken to the Emergency Hospital where he was unable to give any reason for his act. Dr. Kelschner stated tha^ the man was probably temporarily deranged, possible by the heat Friends of Faber say that he has been suffering from insomnia for over two weeks and that Sunday night was the first time he hhd been able to sleep, he having come down from Philadelphia Sunday evening. plattsburg camp starts august 7 .MONTH'S FREE VACATION PROVIDED BY GOVERNMENT FOR ALL MEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 16-35: The Plattsburgh Citizens Military Training Camp of 1921, will open on the 7th of August and continue until September 6th. The camfw will be open to all men between tlfe ages of ' 16 and 35 who pass a satisfactory examination. Training will be given not only in the conventional military drill, but on athletics, and above all, problems - - in' American citizenship, because the real purpose of the camp is to make better American citizensSpecial attention will be paid ^ to the younger men who will be placed in separate companies and drilled acs cordingly.
