This particular fisherman was peeved over the catch, and stuck his knife thru ! the unwelcome, catch and this in his anger threw both-fish and knife over- [ board- Continuing his fishing for an ' hour and a half he felt another vicj- ' ious yank and hauled iri, his prize to ! find that he had again hooked the ! toad fish' which still had the knife : stuck thru it- He recovered the knife | and thumped the life out of the : tough catch, and while the hero of h the tale declares it is true, the yarn f j spinner wouldn't vouch for the fact. CATCHES 315 POUND FISH W. E. Derbyshire, a prominent Philadelphia sportsman, while fish3 miles beyohd Mecray's Shoals" Friday, landed a giant sun fish or mola mo la. Mr- Derbyshire, who was on the Cruiser "Cycle" had a terrific struggle before landing the fish. It weighed 315' pounds and was 5 feet 11 inches in diameter.
