CAPE MAY POINT (Staff Correspondent) Vacation time is drawing rapidly to a close and the Point has experi •need one of the most successful and ' ' delightful seasons in many years. The (summer folk, have had a. gsj and festive time and one attractive affair has followed another. On Thurs day afternoon last the' Auxiliary of the Presbyterian vChurch gave a lawn party on the- lawn . of Miss Mary Barr's home on Cape Avenue. It was • most delightful affair,' supper was served and ice cream and cake at a seminal sum, home made cakes, candy, a "fish pond" for the- kiddies and the crowning success of allj" was the My wagon, which took the crowd old and young for a straw ride which they hugely enjoyed. The sum of #250 81 was realized from this affair The Point Fire Pepartment have n very substantial sum in their treasury. They have about two hundred dollars, which they realized from their several affairs given recently. A minstrel show and a cake sale and "On Friday evening a lawn par^y will V be givenDn the lawn adjoining Thos. Woolston's property. Everything in the line of "eats" and an enjoyable time is assured everybody. Come, bring your visitors along.
