W. H. s. ALUMNI HOLDS MEETING •On Wednesday evening, December /"> fth, the Alumti: Association of the WSldvrood "High School met in the Library" Ro®m of the High School building with about 2q members The Alumni Association plans to have a live basket ball team in "Wildi wood this winter and Egbert Wood has been chosen as manager- MrWood outlined to the members of the Alumni Association the possibilities of having a basket ball team and some of the,>hdvaptage? to the Alumni Association and to the High School to be represented in athletics. At the same time he asked support of all the members df the Alumni in backing the team financially. It was voted to give a Moving Pitcure benefit in the near future and a committee of ten was appointed to' take charge of the affair. Any ■ surplus funds that the basket ball team has. on hand at the end -of thejr ..playing season will "be turned into the Alumni Association's treasury- to assist in financing the annual banquet which will be1 -held next June. ■ The president of the Alumni Asso- ' ' ciation pointed out to the members present the necessity of closer co operation on all High School matters , apd suggested that a correspondent be appointed whose duty it would be to "keep the newspapers of the Island informed "as to the whereabouts of V Alumni members and to acquaint the people of Wildwood with . the accom plishments and undertakings of the High School graduatesThe Alumni members suggested the idea aqd voted to have a permanent record made up of 'all the Alumni members. The -matter-was taken up of compiling and keeping this recorded a committee was appointed by Die president to look into the matter "of securing such a, record ffom each member. At the suggestion " of one -of the members it was decided that the Alumni Association should choose an emblem to -designate graduation, from the Wildwood High School ancLmembership in the Alumni Asso^Satwni Many other matters pertaining 'to the welfare of the Alumni Association and the High School in general were discussed and acted upon.
