A great many of ' 3 these clubs are departmental, having * a civic department, also an educational, literary, art ,in-l music depart- j ment as outlined for the clubs by the State Federation. The various clubs j reported being interested in hospitals . ) and civic work, some supiplying milk g ) for children in their vicinity who are ( 3 underfed. 3 One club in Atlantic City reported V 3 that they conducted a swimming i 3 class, declaring it was a great aid to ^ - health. ] At the close of the morning ses- ■. .don all present were invited to the I basesmerrt of the church for lunch- I The afternoon session opened with an £ address by Mrs. Rroal, president of £ the State Federation, which was fbl- 1 - lowed by a very instructive, as well I ^ as interesting talk by Prof. John- ( j stone, of Vinekmd Training School 1 for the mentally deficient. The next 1 speaker was Mrs. Hope, who is the 1 fared of the department of literature in the federation.
