The Board of Commissioners of the City of Cape May do ordain, That it shall be the duty of the building inspector to prevent the erection of any buildings, or any part thereof, upon or over any fkreet or sidewalk in this city; provided, however, that it may be lawful to erect above the first story of any building bay windows, or like structures, which do not extend over the sidqr walk more than four and a half feet from the inside Hne of the sidewalkSection 2.
